Tax Leader, PwC China
Charles is the Tax Leader of PwC China. He joined PwC in 1994 after several years of working with the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department. He has a thorough understanding of both Hong Kong and China taxation structures.
Charles specialises in China tax and business advisory services. He has over 30 years’ experience in due diligence review, tax restructuring for listing of PRC enterprises, transfer pricing defence and planning for foreign investors in relation to group reorganisation. He was involved in the negotiation and signing of the first Advance Pricing Agreement in Guangdong. His major clients include listed companies and multi-national enterprises.
He is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. He is also certified tax agent in Qianhai of China.
