Yolanda is a Tax Partner at PwC China, based in Shanghai Office with 14 years of experience. She specialises in indirect tax area.
Since China VAT reform in year 2012, Yolanda has been focusing on building efficient indirect tax function for clients, which does not limited to, the strategic VAT function design and implementation, VAT SOPs set-up and improvement, VAT modelling analysis that includes international trade, etc.
She also specialises in the digitalisation of the VAT process, leading various invoice and VAT automation projects in China for clients involved in various industries e.g. traditional manufacturing/trading, high-tech, retail & consumer, pharmaceutical and chemical and group companies with shared service centre. These projects support finance and tax departments in streamlining their processes and improve the tax data analytics capability.
Yolanda is also involved in various VAT defence and negotiation projects. She also played a key role in a crucial VAT ruling application for China’s catering industry.

Yolanda obtained her Bachelor Degree (International Accounting) from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 2005. She is a member of the Fellowship of Chartered Certified Accountants (‘FCCA') and the Chinese Institute of Tax Agents.
