Dora is a Partner in the Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services practice. She is also our representative liaison Partner to the American Chamber of Commerce in China. Dora relocated to Beijing since 2010, and she has more than 20 years of experience in resolving challenges from complex accounting standards, cross-border transactions’ financial reporting issues and related change implementation.
Her career began in 1996 with a US top accounting firm, including eight years in the US leading audits for SEC registrants or consulting on complex engagements in the PwC-US National Office, four years in Hong Kong SAR advising a variety of Asia Pacific-based companies on cross-border IPOs and capital raising, and two years representing PwC-US as a Practice Fellow at the IASB in London, leading and contributing to several IASB and IFRIC projects, addressing emerging IFRS implementation issues.
Dora has worked on numerous high-profile cross-border including US IPOs and deals, MNC inbound and A-Share outbound related audits or advisory. She led various accounting advisory transformation initiatives for companies including GAAP conversions and related data gaps, mergers and divestitures, accounting change and implementation, and Sino-American regulatory compliance projects. Dora has also represented PwC in extensive dialogues with regulators on broader policy and standard setting issues.
Her expertise includes business combination, restructuring, revenue recognition and share-based compensation. Her clients span various sectors such as technology, automotive, energy, telecommunication, internet portals, financial institutions, transportation and logistics, and manufacturing.
Dora is a US CPA, fluent in English and Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese).
