Daniel is the Senior Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhong Tian LLP and also the Managing Partner - Assurance of PricewaterhouseCoopers China. Together with his leadership team, Daniel is leading 10,000 plus audit and risk assurance professionals in China to solve problems for clients and build trust in society. In July 2022, Daniel became the assurance leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers Asia Pacific region.

Daniel has extensive practical experience in providing assurance and business advisory services to Chinese entities. He has led a number of audit engagements in relation to onshore and offshore IPOs, debt restructurings, and mergers & acquisitions to help Chinese entities to raise fund, manage risk and create value. 

Daniel is a senior practice member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“CICPA”) and currently is the Vice President of the CICPA. He has often been invited to advise on Chinese accounting and auditing related standard setting and the development of the Chinese accounting profession, capital markets and microeconomics. He is also a member of the CPPCC of Shanghai municipal government. Daniel was awarded the “National Distinguished Accountant” by the Chinese Ministry of Finance in 2015.
